Palm Canyon Trail at Anza Borrego Springs

This is a loop trail, poorly maintained but easy walking. There is a rise of 300 ft. over the trail. The scenery is desert/alluvial with strange elephant trees as the main attraction. Length of time if walked straight through is an hour and a half.

This loop trail is not far from San Diego and is truly an oasis in the desert. In fact it is the third largest palm oasis in California and even has a beautiful waterfall.
