Paul Bunyan State Trail

This wonderful asphalt long-distance trail is perfect for bikes, inline skates, recumbents, tandems, and other Personal Transportation Vehicles such as Trikke, Elliptigo and Street Strider. In addition, it is often used as a walking and running trail. During winter months, the Paul Bunyan Trail is used for snowmobiling. The newest section was completed in 2014 bringing this trail up to a whopping 121 miles of rail-trail bliss.

Some of the sights that await you on this beautiful trail include lush forests and many lakes, rivers and streams. If you are overnighting it on the trail, you will find numerous interesting and friendly towns along the way.
