Ralston Creek Trail passes some beautiful residential neighborhoods
Ralston Creek Trail

As Ralston Creek meanders through the suburbs of Arvada, CO, the Ralston Creek Trail shadows the creek most of the way.
A great place to start this trail is in Morrison or in Bear Creek State Park. Either way, you would start out on the Bear Creek Trail, but easily switch over to the Ralston Creek Trail in a very short while.
This is a typical suburban trail that winds through neighborhoods, parks, and some pretty countryside. It also goes through a beautiful golf course. If you're lucky, and you're riding the trail on a hot summer day, some kids may have a lemonade stand set up near the golf course. I was pretty impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit of these kids. They had a perfect location to get the business of both trail-users and golfers. I gladly bought some of their drinks but passed on the oh-so-tempting rice krispie treats.
This trail is great for viewing homes. I enjoyed it because there were homes of every size, shape, and value. Some of the modest homes on the trail looked very cozy and inviting. On the other hand, there were some extremely impressive behemoths on the golf course.
As you may have gathered from browsing the trail descriptions on this website, I feel that each trail has its own distinct and unique personality. The structures, both residential and business, are just part of that personality.
