Clear Creek Trail
Start this Colorado loop trail in Prospect Park where there is plenty of parking, restrooms & shelter. Although this loop is mostly on trails it includes some road biking and can all be done with a road bike, mountain bike or hybrid bike. It is also possible to ride a larger loop with more trail and less road by staying on Clear Creek Trail all the way into Golden and then following trails along highway 93. Currently, such trails do no connect all the way north to south but are scheduled to do so sometime in the near future.
This is a fairly popular group ride with Denver, Boulder & Golden bike clubs. Each one has different versions of the loop.
