Hawthorne Trail

16 miles long, not counting the side trails to look out areas.
From the Hawthorne side it is fairly flat for about the first 6 miles and then some hills, then sink holes !  For trikkers, a good challenge! Probably the most natural scenic trail in Florida.

Trikker -- love to explore trails on my trikke. I have done any marathons and completed 6 Trikke Century Rides on a T12 Roadster Trikke. When I travel I usually have a trikke!

  1. I think your map of the Hawthrone Trail is wrong. You drive down SE
    15th street in Gainesville, FL to get to Boulware Springs Park where
    the trail starts.

  2. You can actually start the trail now on a conbecting one at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
