Loop Trail Around Boulder, Colorado
Boulder Area Trails Coalition (BATCO) has proposed a complete loop trail around the city of Boulder, Colorado. Most portions of the trail will be a multi-use trail, but the bike trail portion of the Trail Around Boulder (TAB) has a “Bike Connection” route on the southwestern trail section. The map included with this guide is for the bicycle portion of the trail.
Since the loop trail is currently in the proposal stage, some sections may be different when it is complete. Certain portions of the trail are not yet built, so the suggested detours are shown on the map below. Some of the detours on the enclosed map are slightly different than the ones suggested by BATCO. Trail Around Boulder Will:
- Link trails that already exist.
- Require less than eight miles of new trail.
- Be available to numerous forms of non-motorized trail travel.
- Provide both commuter and recreational benefits for locals and visitors.
- Provide one more reason for people to visit Boulder.
- Benefit people of all ages, abilities, and interests.
- Become a worldwide model for community trails.
- Connect various Boulder county trails, parks, open spaces, and attractions.
