The “West-Coast”, of the South Island of New-Zealand, is regarded as one of the Wonders of the World, comprising of unsurpassed scenery you will see & experience anywhere on the planet. Regardless of mode, every corner you turn you will be greeted with a sight that will take your breath away.
The area is famous for it’s Fox & Franz-Joseph Glaciers, Pancake Rocks, and Heaphy Track, to name a few but, in recent months, an new addition has been added to the area that, in time, will become as famous. And it’s called – “The West Coast Wilderness Trail”.
As I live out of the country, I have yet to experience this trail first-hand but, as I have hiked, mountain-biked and kayaked throughout this area, I can vouch for what you will experience.
Getting here is easy, there is public transport entering the area from wherever you are. I make two suggestions – don’t be in a hurry and take plenty of pictures. You will love the West Coast Wilderness Trail in New Zealand.
