This paved, mostly flat trail is great for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. It provides both an urban trail experience with beautiful sections of rural trail. The trail also connects to the Wheeling Creek Trail at Heritage Point for another biking or hiking option. As if that isn’t enough, trail enthusiasts can also connect with the seven mile Brooke Pioneer Trail once they get to the northern terminus of the Wheeling Heritage Trail. History buffs and railroad buffs will appreciate the historical significance of this trail since it is built along the route of the former B & O Railroad Line.
