Mickelson Trail

The George S. Mickelson Trail is the best way to see the Black Hills of South Dakota. It is one of the longest rail trails in America and can be used all throughout the year by hikers, mountain bikers, cross-country skiers and equestrians.

In September 2012, Trailsnet is offering the Mickelson Trail Trek Tour. We will join the annual Mickelson Trail Trek for a three day bike journey that includes transportation, lodging and most meals. Click on the link in this paragraph for more information.

The map below only shows a portion of the trail. Visit the Traillink website for a more comprehensive map.
